| Coolest tournament What was the coolest tournament u ever went to?
For me it was last years Ga games. They were located in the food court at the CNN center. It was really neat because there were so many people watching. Keeth and Erin Smart came. We flew in directors. And on the last day after the tournament was done we got to go and eat in the private room at some restaurant and watch fencing videos. |

| For me, it's a toss-up. I'm torn between the last Valentines Day couple's tournament and last summer's Italian Dueling Sabre Seminar and Tournament in New Jersey. I'm leaning toward Dueling Sabre because we road tripped from Detroit to New Jersey, had a great seminar with Maestro Martinez, his wife Maestro Acosta, and Chirs Umbs and his wife Jana (who eliminated me from the tournament!). My friend Sean took second in a close bout with Chris, and we went to a nice place to eat after the tournament. Pictures are here: http://hometown.aol.com/hilanddoug/myhomepage/profile.html
Somehow, some of the pictures won't load. Keep hitting "refresh" and you should get them, or check the new site, http://www.geocities.com/scfencing |

| I would have to say the 2001 Van Buskirk Memorial in Houston Texas. It was my first tournament and I got to see a wide range of skill. He had a great deal of elite fencers from all over Texas compete. I didn't place well, 37 of 51, but I had fun seeing all the variety of fencers there.
2nd favorite would have to be a small Epee tournament last month that I secured my E in.

| Pier, did it rain? It generally rains horizontally on the Saturday and gets the canteen all wet. I remember last year on the Monday I had jeans, skivvy, large coat (which I wore later on in London in winter), gloves and RM Boots and I was STILL cold. Denise Dupre spent half the day chasing me out the officals room which was the only place with a heater.

| Either a big team tournament I went to once at the Air Force Academy. Or the first time I went to the Nationals.
