New rules and the march How will the new rules affect the march? Can wavy/vague threats still carry the same weight?
Thanks. -

Array The new rules will not impact the march. The march is effective because of the implied threat - read Walter's article again and think about what's being said there.
The impacts will be in the new tactics that are used. If counter-attacks are awarded more, then there will be more disruption tactics used to try to attack into the march, but a good fencer will modify their finish with the march to take advantage of the tactical shift.
All in all, the basics of the march will not change, the fine-tuning of actions for application of the march may change a bit. The results from this season of world cups will show us.
