job definitely needs to be handled, no doubts about that.
i'm just pointing out the obvious; people tend to say that bush has the security of the nation in mind when its pretty obvious that its not the #1 priority. how much do you think he's spending at the moment to find osama? |

It would also be nice to get all the oil in iraq so that we can have low gas prices next Summer. |

Kerry was over in Nam scewing around with the villagers while Bush was serving in The National Guard. Bush has been protecting us from terrorist attacks to the Homeland even back then. | Those were meant as jokes too, right? He got a Silver Star and a Bronze star, and there are veterans who publically thanked him for saving their lives. Bush was serving in the National Guard - yeah, occasionally, when he wasn't absent for the golf course or a political campaign

| Of course she has no examples. All the liberals are like that. If you watch any debate between a Republican and a demorat you will see that it is always the Republican that comes out with the exact figures and facts. All the demorat does is make up lie so that the Republican has to waste time defending himself against these lies instead of making his points. |

Nice catch, RL. ;(

Those 'free speech boxes' where you can protest something about two miles away from the issues that you are protesting... Right to bear arms? No, you have to go through red tape to get a gun. One thing that I am upset about right now is how a lot of people consider Japan to be a nation without freedoms, yet over there you may walk around carrying a katana and not be stopped by the police, and the last time that I tried that here... I got to know my local police force very, very well. I do remember having a discussion with some adults at my last homeschool meeting about the social security card once having a promise not to be used as a personal identity, and when I went to get my permit, they asked for my social security card to prove my identity. My postman threatened my mother that he'd have to 'turn her in' for homeschooling us if we didn't register. I've begun to wonder why my neighbors are so greatly interested in what I am doing with my life... I don't hurt anyone, I don't plan on hurting anyone but I'm constantly being watched. The doctor has to give out any information to the police that he finds suspicious, and all government workers must report suspicious activities. I've sadly found that a private life is not in any way private...
RL, please don't call me a liberal as Libertarian is the proper term. Constitutionalist will also work, as will a believer in the Bill of Rights.

You haven't been able to since the 1890's and only samurai were able to then. No wonder you are all messed up. You are homeschooled. Your examples are weak. Liberal and Libertarian are not the same just as Democrat and democratic are not the same.

That's why she wants to be known as a LIBERTARIAN (if you're going to insult her, spell it right), not a liberal. And you can carry around a katana in japan. Too many people to really give a crap of one over the other. Hell, they couldn't see you through the sea of people. GO to Japan before you carry out opinions about it. And honestly, you can carry a katana around in the U.S. too. Just not on government property. |

1889: emperor Meiji promulgates a parliamentary constitution
I've been to Japan a couple of times. I even appeared in 2 japanese movies. |
