Array ok, it may appear that i was out of proportion, but i wasnt'. and i can say albeit it if i want to. and i really did feed a little cardinal right out of my hand. after all that food and wine, you may have to go on a diet. you write a lot! i couldn't keep up with it. by the way, i see no difference in shooting skeet, or fencing.

Array Wow... Cute tablemate.
Although $175 for dinner and fencing is a little to pricy for me. I'd be honored to fence you if I get to the bay sometime. Don't take life so seriously... You'll never live through it. -

Array The hors d'oeurves and wine and dinner would cost about $150 at least in any other situation. So the extra $25 for the ambience, setting, and overall entertainment is perfectly fine.
The appetizers and drinks prior to dinner in the garden area was great. That's a $40 retail right there, especially if you drink lots (which I didn't, just two glasses). The dinner was a full course with various wines for each dish, a fabulous cheese plate at the end (incredible cheeses), and a wonderful strawberry dessert. The artichoke tear with osetra caviar would easily put you back $20 just buying the product yourself before even taking time to make it.
So all in all, it's certainly a worthwhile dining experience. I wouldn't do it on a weekly basis, but once a year or so, it's good to splurge.
Oh, and she's not Sandra Bullock.
