    Is this gonna work good?

Hey, i got this order form from the Custom Foil section on the Negrini website. First of all, is that the correct blade length? What is the standard/rule? Then is it a good deal for what Im getting.

Im getting a french grip because I dont know what pistol grip I want yet, if any. And I can always get one later but i know i can use a french grip and its cumbfy enough for me, and i want to start fecning as soon as possible. So any suggestions, on dealer/parts would be great. I also like their french grip (rubber) better than any of the other french grips I have seen, maybe the picture is just better. I think I may be able to get something like this from The Fencing post and thast state side so I won't be killed by shipping as much. So I just want to know if this looks good or not.

I will only comment on one item. The guard you order is what is called a maximum guard. That is not bad or good. Most guards used are 10cm. Some feel the larger guard is slower. Others like to have the extra protection.

There will be some who see it and say it is illegal, because they haven't seen one that big. It is legal.

Indeed, in my oppinion your fine with a 100mm guard, it's lighter and it wont take dents as easily. Unless you have very large and sensitive hands, a 10cm guard offers enough protection.
