Second weapon

Ive been fencing for a little over a year now and getting more and more into it. from the beginning ive had a basic blue gauntlet foil with a french grip, which has served me quite nicely, but is starting to get a lot of the wear and tear that cheap beginner blades go through. There is a permanent bend in it, which would be normal except for the fact that its almost entirely made up of kinks that refuse to come out, and im afraid that it could snap at one of them if i end up bending it hard on someone. I also tried a friends foil equipped with a pistol grip, and liked it a lot. So i was wondering if anyone had suggestions as to what i should concider purchasing. thanks!

If it's dry, get a new one, I'm pretty sure all dry weapons are cheap.

If it's electric, you can invest in a nice one that will last awhile, or buy a cheap one that will break. I'd suggest asking your coach.

Quality Blades

Yo,
Like the dude above said...if its a dry blade used only for practice...I guess another cheap blade won't hurt from any old seller...But if you want electric for serious tourneys, etc...Get something that will last. Of course everyone loves Leon Paul blades...Santelli sells Leon paul blades as well...So I guess it's all upon the question of how much are you willing to spend for quality.
