And the game "Halo" can actually be pretty creepy, especially the first time you encounter The Flood. | Hey, I liked "28 Days Later."
"The Punisher" was both painfull and funny at the same time. It was a shame. There were a few moments that did Garth Ennis justice.
As for scary games, I like the Silent Hill series.

| For a scary recent film, I'd say Open Water. It's the fact that it's based on truth... *shiver*

The only movie I've ever had nightmares about.
The Thing creeped me out as well. |

| There's a Japanese movie called 'Audition', wherein I'm told you never feel comfortable near a diffel bag ever again... It's pretty awesome (but I don't agree with the duffel bag statement, I can see where many would, though)
Rob Zombie's "House of a thousand Corpses" will creep you out, as you'd hope there aren't actually people like that out there...
Jaws is always a classic (I don't care how many times you've seen it, EVERYONE jumps when the you know what comes out of the wrecked boat)
If you can jump to your own conclusions and interpret the meaning of things, Barton Fink is a fun one.
And then, there's always the great opening scene from Scary Movie...
Killer: What's your favorite scary movie?
Drew Decker: Kazaam! You know, the one where Shaquille O'Neal plays a genie.
Killer: That's not a horror movie.
Drew Decker: Yeah, well, you've never seen Shaq act.

| Ringu was better, or at least as good as the ring. It was the original- the japanese version The Ring was based on. |

You can have your opinion but I believe, and this comes after having watched both of them back to back that the Ring is much creepier than Ringu.

| House of a thousand corpses was pretty scary. But picture this..when I went to it it was a midnight showing, and I was the only one in the theater. I think that added a bit to the effect. |
