    NAC Eligibility

For NAC's you don't have to try out like in nationals, right? I'm going to sign up to compete, but I'm not sure whether or not I'm eligible. Or maybe I'm just weird and don't know anything about fencing.

Div I NACs require at least a D rating. Div II/III NACs require at most a C or D (respectively) rating. The various age group NACs require that the fencer be in the appropriate age group. Other than that there aren't any preliminary qualifiers if that's what you're asking.

A quick clarification to oiuyt's explanation. For NAC Division III you can't have a rating higher than a "D". For NAC Division II you can't have a rating higher than a "C".

Also, I believe that you can't have the higher ratings in Div II and III at the time of registration, but can still fence the NAC if you earn a higher rating between then and the actual tournament.
