Will the New Timing Boxes be at NAC A????

Can anyone tell me if the NAC in Atlanta will be using the new machine boxes with the shorter lockout time for foil? Thank you.

Most likely. The Board of Directors of the USFA meets tomorrow to discuss this very issue.

I have been told by someone in the know that there is a 99% possibility that the new timing will be adopted for the 2004-2005 USFA season. Just as the FIE has decided to adopt the timing for the coming season. A big indicator of this was in a post on a thread by JEC which said that BG didn't have any upgrade chips available because the first batch was been used to upgrade the machines that you will be fencing on for another 4 years!
As a rep for Favero, I also have the upgrade chips in stock for a fee of $34 you can be the proud owner of a dual program chip that can be installed in your Full Arm 01. If you want to have the fixed version which includes the T2005 self-destructing sticker a fee of $38 would be needed. If you have a Full Arm 05 and want to upgrade that puppy, then $58 would get you there. All of these chips come with easy to follow installation instructions and are shipped Priority Mail.
