| Life before the net. In many ways I think the quality of life was richer before the internet. |

| Instant messengers make it much easier to contact several friends at once and go someplace, while simultaneously checking movie times online.
Of course, that was pre-Academy... |

| I can't answer this poll. It doesn't have 'the quality of your life is what you make it out to be'. My life is very, very good and I use the internet all of the time. I just happen to know what a hard day's work is, and I'm able to appreciate how nice my life really is.

| The real question isn't whether or not your life is better off than it was before the net, it's whether it's better off now with the net than it would have been without it.
Or rather, that's what the question should be to yield a meaningful results... because web polls ALWAYS have meaningful results. |

| But there was a time when I didn't use the internet or before I 'discovered' it. As I said before, the quality of life is what you make it out to be.
On a side note, why are you using netspeak? That is so horrible, it makes me cringe. Things like that are what make most of the teenaged population fail in English class.

| Before I was heavily on the internet, I owned at something stupid like paintball. Now I own at something cool like counter strike. |

| A lot of the guys in my squadron last year actually used Counter-Strike to practice the basic small-infantry movement we got taught in basic training. I think it worked - when used paintballs for a rescue scenario last November, we tied for best-performing squadron. |

| As a side note, they're also virtually invincible when they play Counter-Strike. |
