| Hello I just thought it'd be cool to join a fencing community and have a place to come with my fencing questions when my coach isn't around. Fencers are just cool people, generally..
I've been fencing almost six years now, I'm a junior in high school, and I live in the middle of the middle of the midwest. I suppose technically I'm more west/midwest but it sure feels like I'm in the middle of SOME huge expanse.
I'm just your general Tolkein inspired kid with an overwhelming obsession for sharp objects and objects I imagine as sharp, such as my make beleive deadly foil. I also like fire, hmm. In short, I'm much like most of you, or I assume I am.
Other than that, I find my identity in my relationship with God. It is the one controlling force in my life.
Excelsior!

| hmm are a lot of people here interested in pointy/sharp objects?
I'm actually not, but fencing itself is so....magical >_< hehe.
I'm a scifi kid. But fantasy works, from time to time ^__^ |

Like stickers or cats, being sharp doesn't really make them cool or awesome. Swords though, pointy swords... yes there is some fascination there.
