umm no it's not, the distance with any plug is the same from the strain relief to either the a or c plugs.

You may be thinking of a copy of a German style plug, which would be true. Dave is right. Look at a Priuer 3-prong or copy. Where the wire comes into the boot is NOT in the center, where it is on a German. Long Beach State used Prieur. I always made each of the lengths different lengths to compensate for that design.

To show this even better. If you have a Prieur or copy 3-prong, take the connector away from the boot and then turn it 180 degrees and you will find the holes do not line up with the little prongs in the boot. The design is made to have the C line the shortest.
