    %&%#@! brass screws!

One thing I've always hated about a French epee plug was the fragility of the brass screws...crank them too tight and they break off, leaving the screw in the plastic, unable to get it out.

I;ve got a few of those...anyone know how to get the things out??

If there is any way to scrape a groove in the end, you might be able to back it out (like when you have a tip-screw that has had the head boogered up) or you can get fairly small extractors (drill a small hole, insert the extractor and then back it out). Check with JC Witney, Micro tool, or McMaster - Carr to see if they might have something.

They're French plugs...the top of the screw is below the top of the plastic bracket...thus I can't cut a groove...that'd be too convenient anyway!

I'll have to look into a small extractor. Thanks for the idea.

Im guessing these are the Prieur orange/ red bodycords that your talking about. I had to deal with a few of them at nationals, i realy dont liek them myself, nice color and design except on the screws, maybe i would buy some if they had real screws for the job.
