My regular supplier, Peter G from Sweden sent me an email saying he's taping well over 10 hours of material. Apparently, he's getting good coverage from Eurosport (in Swedish).
So, we won't have James Chambers to kick around anymore, and we won't have to worry about (mis-)understanding the commentator. I'll post more info about getting a copy here in the US once I learn more from Peter.
He tells me that they're showing semis and finals for most of the events, so that's great to hear. Would love to see Sanzo in more than one bout.

great, but listening to Chambers describe
every single move as a beat attack is just
a bit much.
Is it a beat attack of a parry riposte? I recall that he calls everything (including beat-attacks) as parry-ripostes. It is just amazing to see an attack, counter-attack called as attack, parry-riposte.
I do like the avuncular sound of his voice, and he does seem to generate some amount of passion, as opposed to the very stoic sounds of the Swedish commentators I had for the 2000 Olympics. Those guys sounded like they were reading off the ticker tape reports on a slow day on Wall Street.
I haven't heard back from Peter G, but he did send me email (I posted info on r.s.f.) that he's got about 10+ hours of material. I don't know whether that's 10+ hours of total material (he extrapolating from mid-championships), or that he had 10+ hours so far. He sent me the email at about the half-way point of the championships.
OK, where do I sign up for a set of videos?

BTW any chance of getting them in a format compatible with the machines in use in South Africa?
I believe its the same format as that used in the UK if thats any help...
Did ya manage to tape the mens epee final as well as the womens i really want to see the bronze medal match and see how on earth Nagy brought the Hungarian tema back from the dead and managed to win them the bronze medal bout

errrrr i dont remember what i have , but probably only finals by teams and some semis in individual+finals...
anyway i dont have the full epee men team final which was a pure **** thx to Loit ! so i have only thios final from 20-14 or sthg ... sorry tv said : 10h, and they started at 9.15...
for putting it on AVIs, well i need some time... i ll try
