| Significant other a fencer? I can't stay away from this poll thing.
New question: Is your significant other a fencer? If so, does he/she fence the same weapon?

| I don't have a significant other, but if I did it would be great if it was a person who wanted to share the sport with me!
Alas, fencing is the only lasting passion in my life... *sigh*

| Mostly it's great. No having to explain your obsession with swords, or why you go out with them several nights a week. It can get annoying, "Hey! Where did those new epee tips I bought go?" and "My weapon dosen't work, can you fix it?" |

The poll only allows ten possibilities.

| I put in different weapon, although the SO fences two -- for some weird reason to do with actually being good at it, he persists in fencing foil.... |

| Yep. She fences saber but that's okay in my book. I'll probably join her in the future.

| its nice to have the boyfriend understand my issues with directors, other fencers, my fencing and so on and not have to explain everything. he knows it's not just a game.

| Is there a category for those of us who have met a fencer that we would like to be a significant other?
