    Flexible, Whippy Epee Blade?

I'd like to invest in a more flexible blade well suited to "thrown thrusts" or "flicks". Any suggestions on blades that are flexible, yet stand up well to straight hits w/out requiring a lot of straightening?

    Thanks in advance.

Any Russian or Chinese made blade has a lot of flex to it, in my experience. It's great for the under the gaurd flick. Whatever you do don't get a TCA blade if you want a whippy blade. they are great weapons, but rather stiff.

Leon Paul "foldy"epees are pretty good. I had been using the garbage russians for a few years and I am now hooked on these. They have a very precictable flex while maintaining rigidity.

Leon Paul FIE blades are rated according to their flexibility, so you can specifically order one that is on the flexible end of the spectrum. Their epee blades tend not to need to take kinks as much as the Russian Lammet blades.
