Array Favero 01 - bulk order According to Favero, the chip for the FA-01 will cost 20 euros. None of the US vendors appear to have them now. As the most expensive part is the shipping cost (overseas + customs), I plan to buy direct with an order under $300. If people are interested, let me know via email. I will then send them via USPS-Priority with receipt. We can all split the cost. -

Array Would like two (but let me check to see what version of Favero I have). My email is edew@firstplacefencing.com. How does one send a private message on this board? -

Array This is the website of favero with the instructions and advertised costs: http://www.favero.com/proupdat.htm
keep in mind that: http://www.favero.com/pdf/T2005%20pre-info%20eng.pdf
What I plan to do is to split the total cost of the order based on Euros ordered.

Look at Favero's website. http://www.favero.com/en/ini-fen.htm
01 - 4 light elongated machine
05 - 4 light elongated machine with numbers
03 - looks more like an old SM machine Have you placed your order yet? I'd like to get one, too. Sorry, but just was able to get to the discussion group. Spent 2.5 days trying to fly from Afghanistan to Iraq.
If you can get one for me, could you please hold on to it or send it my house in Houston. Will PM you the address.
Thanks -

Array I am expecting to get the chips by the end of next week. I only ordered two extra chips for the Favero 01 machine. http://www.favero.com/images/ful01wri.jpg
Anybody who is interested please let me know. Each will cost: $38.00 plus priority mail and receipt (4.30)
That is a bargain compared to: http://www.zivkovic.com/item.jsp?web_id=707 (FA-05 was only 10 euros more)

Array I have two addtional 2-program chips for sale at the above price for the Favero 01 scoring machines. I expect them to arrive around this Friday or next Monday (UPS international). As it was indicated in another thread, the SG chips would not be available until after November. -

Or should I claim one of the two you have for sale?
Thanks either way! -

Array Given to the outstanding response (read savings as compared the only US vendor advertising), I am putting a second order tonight. If you are interested, please email me at: texasepilepsy@earthlink.net . Please include your name, address, model number of your scoring machine, and which chip you want.
If you have a question on which chip you need, read the thread in the Armory: http://www.fencing101.com/vb/showthread.php?t=13165
The first group of 2-program chips for the FA-01 scoring machine has arrived to the States earlier than expected, so I might be able to send them via Priority Mail as early as Friday. I need a check for each chip for $42.30 (38.00 + priority mail shipping; or $80.30 if you ordered two chips ) and your address. -

Array I received the first order of Favero Chips, as soon as I receive checks for the amount of $42.30 (US), I will be mailing them. I also placed a second order.
My almost 13 year old son was telling me that most flicks were not landing, and a very quick remise beats a riposte. He told me that at their level is back to more classical foil fencing. -

Array I received quite a few requests for upgrade chips. Keep in mind that I am trying to do this for fencing net members. We are splitting costs.
FA-01 chip is $38.00
FA-05 chip is $57.00 compare to FA-05 chip via a traditional vendor
Shipment via Priority Mail is $4.30
I plan to place another order tomorrow night. On Friday, I will be sending the next group of chips to those who sent me checks. Please contact me via email at: texasepilepsy@earthlink.net -

Array I sent today, 2-program chips for those who sent me checks. I received the second batch of chips yesterday, and placed another order of 2-program chips. I ordered an extra two for FA-01 scoring machines. I am hoping this is the last order. -

Array I upgraded the two machines of my division with 2-program chips. There are quite a few of you who have been early adopters. I would like to hear what you have to say about the upgrading process and whether it has changed your fencing (I'm an epeeist - so no change, but my son fences foil). -

Array I will be placing another FAVERO order. This Thursday is the deadline, and truly, this is my last bulk order. I am pretty certain that regular vendors will start carrying them shortly. Specify machine model (01 or 05), chip type (2-program or T2005), number of chips, and your address. -

Array JEC,
What you were looking at on the zivkovic.com site was actually a different chip from what you needed, hence the higher price.
I think these are the ones you had in mind:
Full-Arm 01 ($40): http://www.zivkovic.com/item.jsp?web_id=732
Full-Arm 05 ($45): http://www.zivkovic.com/item.jsp?web_id=734 -

Array I'm glad that you came down in price! The website indicated a considerable higher price for past 5 weeks, and it was "the only" upgrade chip available in your website.
As I indicated, I think that most vendors will be carrying them, and competitive pressure will keep prices reasonable. -

Array I just need to emphasize that the higher priced chip on the website was a completely different product (Art. 831-02: Chip ARM05-T2 to be exact), so there was no "coming down in price" or attempt to gouge customers.
If you visit Favero's website, you'll see his new KIT FA-05/TEST product and the high price the associated chip carries (330 euros). This is what you saw on the website.
The two chips currently on our website are the ones people need if they have a regular 05 or 01. These were added to our product list only about two weeks ago. Similar Threads -
