    Porcupine Open

    The Porcupine open, Brooklyn fencing's first competition will be held on September 26th. It's looking like it will be a strong competition, with excellent fencing, and strong refereeing. For more info/to register for the open, visit www.brooklynfencing.com .

    Looks like fun! I think I'll sign up, although my skills are nowhere near the caliber of most folks in this area, so I'll probably get eliminated right off the bat.

    It was a lot of fun. Nice people, great facility. Wish there were more places to stand or sit while waiting our turn on the strip, but that's a minor quibble. Looking forward to the next one!
