| The gun was the Rede
and like a Dalton I did deeds
Bootstraps fastened, face hardened
Life's teasing, beckoning me to you
I thought I was a desperado but the chrysalis of my heart turns to butterfly when I see you
(had to perform CPR...but of course I couldn't ruin continuity)
pelf
price
tacit
imbue

| I had to pelf the money away
from the unhappy causes of day
It cost me a price none other than death
I thought I could be tacit and slowly slip away
Imbued (sp? is it a real word?) in my shirt was the red and black of death upon me and I knew that he never saw
me slip away.
tacit (Not speaking; silent.) ???
imbue (To stain or dye deeply.)???
I have no idea???

Tsk tsk...your thesaurus is sadly lacking
pelf: informal word for money (archaic more or less)
price: you got that
imbue: to permeate, diffuse, or spread through....his willingness to return the favor selflessly imbued their relationship with a feeling of mutual trust
tacit: implied, not spoken
(btw, when in doubt Google will usually help)
Now, feel free to try again, and welcome to our little family of people that actually attempt to post on this thread.

DOES IT HAVE TO RHYME??
I had no plef
the price to great
He tried to tacit a response
but it seemed unethical to try
to permeate which means the word imbue
LOL its like steps
do you see it?

As such using the 4 words is generally accepted protocol...and Rosey you'll quickly learn that we're a lovingly sarcastic group. Never take anything personally...or you'll end up making a new friend in Dote.

| The pedantic wallpaper stared lazily at his hand,
For, as we all know, Mr. Rogers is a man,
I impose an imposition,
A dream of a sexual position.

Batting | I love the fact you used Mr. Rogers and sexual position in the same poem.
Can my day at work please be a little less hectic?
Batting for squirrels just doesn't seem very eclectic
Everything Toshiba ever made is falling apart
The copier is on fire, and yet, it's only the start
Patronize.
Livid.
Coping.
Repress.

| Is that a good school? Why do you patronize me?
The mere suggestion of its legitimacy leaves me livid.
People flock there b/c it provides an escape from civility they can't cope with
Every moment there is just another memory to repress later in life....
Wow do I HATE DOOK.........Go Heels!!!! Beat the jakeys (I mean who spends $40,000 to sleep in dingy patch of mud?)

| Come and watch as the palisades come down
The show will please you, and it won't cost much
Crashing down, you will exult the wonder of this town
For giving you such energy with its electric touch
The town I refer to is Huntsville.

She's staring through the glass with unfocused eyes
Seeing the cheerless mass, she looks up to the skies
With eggplant reflected in her window's polluted pane
She watches the neglected world with utter disdain.

| I want to be your derivative baby, tangent to your curves
Because you're the function that defines me f(x) [x=[me,infinity)]
I can't quite define our love but I know this one thing
I'll always be your integral, holding you up and supporting
yeah, I went there...what about it? (I am not a nerd, I swear...)

Or maybe an optimist, with a broken heart.
