BF, because I prefer the lighter weight, balance, and the greater stiffness (keeps the point from wobbling around too much). I do have some Vniti blades, too-- their durability is better, so I tend to use them in practice a lot. Also, after practicing with the somewhat heavier Vnitis (substantially heavier in the case of the old-pattern Vnitis, of which I still have a couple), the BF blades feel like feathers.

You can't make blanket statements about one model of blade's feel being superior to another-- it's too much a matter of personal preference. Also, there's the issue that individual blades of the same make and model can vary. You might get a dud BF that would make you think Vniti is overall better, and vice-versa.

I'd say vniti. They are more consistent from batch to batch. Heavy, and nigh indestructible. The bf's, while light and having some better characterists, such as flickyness or point control sniping, or things like that, are not always as consistent, and some break very quickly, while others last till the rapture. They are a gamble at best, and a gag sized wad of bills down the crapper at worst.

I have both and I prefer the Vniti for my particular style. I have found that the BF is a better parry-riposte blade for just the reasons given before: it is a stiffer blade. The BF has no tip wobble even after a really hard parry or beat. The Vniti is OK in this regard, but not as rock solid as the BF I have.

The Vniti is better in terms of setting a flick, at least for me. Most of the flicks I use are not extreme, middle of the back types, and mostly they come from defense (prise de fer or beat - coupe - flick or a flick as a stop hit coming from absence of blade). I find the Vniti better suited for me with these tactics. Against certain opponents that I know where I anticipate more of a parry-riposte encounter or tighter attacks with more disengages than coupes I will employ a BF. The Vniti's I have are the older, heavier pattern so I cannot comment on the newer version.

I haven't fenced with the new foil timings. I may prefer the BF blades if I find that the way that I throw the point on occasion no longer works.

Vniti for pretty much all the reasons DFP mentioned and the fact that they are fairly cheap for an FIE blade! I have seen a bit of variation as regards stiffness in the Vniti blades though. Someone told me that the number stamped in the tang tells you what degree of flex you have with 9 being the most whippy, although I have not idea if this is true or not.
