| Any cool fencing wallpapers? Hi guys,
Looking to spice up my new laptop and am wanting to show everyone at university how cool fencing is! Anyone know where I can find good fencing wallapers or pictures?
I want my uni buddies to say, "wow, that looks awesome! How can I start?".
Also, has anyone been hit in the head in sabre? Does the mask absorb the impact or does it knock your head hard?
Thanks! |

| pic this one is good.
it just has to be stretched- the quality is still pretty good. I forgot where i got it from.
You can always just google image search with something like fencing olymics or fencing world cup -get rid of the "home" fencing pics.

| The French sister site to Fencing.net, http://www.escrime-info.com has a whole section with wallpapers: http://www.escrime-info.com/modules/...eta=Wallpapers
You need to be signed in as an escrime-info member to see them, I think.

| Any wall paper with foil fencing would be nice...
infact why not have foil fencing and sylwia gruchala?
actually... skip the fencing, just focus on sylwia

| This one would be good if it were way huger.
The second one is my wall paper. I think I found a bigger version of that picture somewhere. It does look streched but it doesn't bother me much at all.

Anyone and everyone who's ever tried sabre has been hit in the head with one, including myself.
My head has never been "knocked hard," except in the following circumstances:
1. Being belled in the head by my opponent.
2. A fencing start time of 8:30 am after having been drinking from the hours of 9 to 2 the previous evening.
I would like to note that it's particularly bad when numbers 1 and 2 both occur at the same time ... |

| Thanks Kalivor,
What's "belled" in the head mean? I know fencing masks are great to absorb impact, plus, the blades are usually flexible and light. n-e-how, can't wait to give sabre a go.
Thanks also for the wallpapers. Especially so those of the Polish cutie. Actually, I think her pics may be good for fencing - wrist strength (sorry, couldent resist)
Cheers |
