"They only have a bit of oxidation on them that can be taken care of by a good abrasive sponge", i wouldnt buy a blade with any oxidation on it just incase, id rather pay 12.00 more and get a BG blade new no oxidation and wire it myself and have a good blade with out having to clean it right form the get-go. thats just me.

I would rather fence with a car antenna than a BG blade. IMHO they are the worst blades sold in the country. The Fence Smart blades clean up very well and are pretty good quality fleche blades. I have bought about 20 of them over the past year or so for club use and only two have broken.

The last batch I got were French grip only as they were the old super strong tang style where only the last inch or so is threaded and the wiring grove was not as deep as I would have liked but for the money it is the best deal around. Give them a call though if you want pistol grips to make sure you get what you need. They also have practice epees for the same price. Again, great deals.
