Anyone know who is fencing in this shot? I think it's a cool fencing shot, and it's cool to see more fencing images pop up here and there. Thanks to our great fencers!

I can't get your link to work...
Epee is the Louis Vuitton bag of fencing: only the best can get it, and the rest of the masses must content themselves with cheap knockoffs (sabre, foil)
To not recognize the power of the French grip is to be in denial
Well, it's still not working... Gosh, I was salivating, hoping to see a nice fencing picture and it's out of reach...
Do you remember who was the photographer who took the picture, however?

The site still isn't working completely, however I was able to use google's cache to work out where the image is stored. Though you can't get the page the photo is on and get the description and photographer info, the photo itself is accessible:
We're no threat, people, we're not dirty, we're not mean
We love everybody but we do as we please
When the weather's fine,
We go fishin' or go swimmin' in the sea
We're always happy
Life's for livin', yeah, that's our philosophy
Man, you guys are good. Thanks... Yeah the photo isn't -that- great, but the award is a pretty big deal for photojournalists and it's cool to see a fencing image among the winning photos.
I don't think it's even a good "sports photo". I like the motion blur which gives the action, and the angle is nice, but the left leg of the guy on the left which is cut off kind of breaks the picture, I think

ohhhh, yeah. Serge got a picture on Jon Tiomkins wonderful jumping-almost-flick-repost. . . So freaking funny, gets up on Ganeev 4-1 or something, then decides "now is the time to jump and flick!!!" almost got the touch too. . .
Yep, Serge's fencing pictures are a notch above anything else I have seen in terms of fencing pictures. It really shows how someone who knows about fencing and photography can make really good shots. I think that his shots can really do something for attracting more people to the sport.
