| McDonald's Fliers I just got a McDonald's flier in one of those community paper deals. It was an 8'' x 11" picture of a foil fencer facing the camera with the byline "I always keep one eye on my opponent" with the foil pointed at the camera and the guard visible in the foreground. It is a nice picture that is miniposter quality.
Do they have multiple versions of fencers or just the one? I'm sure they are doing it for multiple sports.
Anyone know the fencer? The foil is well-used based on the proper "scarring" of the guard.
Just thought I'd give everybody a heads up.

| As far as I know, there is only one version, because about 8 people brought the flier to me at work.
It looks like an epee to me, not a foil. |

| It has one wire going down the middle, its a foil. Though food for though, the fencer isnt wearing a lame.... if the fencer was wearing a lame, would they be advertising lame food?

| Saw the same ad here last Sunday in the sunday paper's "coupon" ads. Definitely a foil fencer with an electric foil, as I also noted the groove for the wire on the top of the blade. |

| Yes, it's just the perspective of the photo that makes the guard look huge and epee-ish. |

| Foil. Definitely foil. (Cue Rainman scenes)
When I first saw it, I thought the blade had rust on it. I think it was just the lighting.
There's always a chance that McD's may have put the scratches in the bell gaurd to make it look more realistic.
