Firmware for the new Foil and Saber Timings

There's been a lot of talk around here about the new foil and saber timings, but many people haven't had the chance to try them out. For those of you who have Eigertek scoring machines, we've just introduced a special firmware chip so you can satisfy your curiosity or train for World Cup competitions.

Also, you could secretly replace the firmware in the scoring machines at your fencing club, and watch the hilarity as fencers soon discover that flicks no longer work...

Eric, will the changes be available on new boxes by default? We're thinking about purchasing a few more Eigerteks, and would definitely like to play around with the new timing.

Not yet, we want to wait until the dust settles before we ship with the new timings. You'd have to buy the firmware separately, or you could try making a deal with Matthew at AFS.
