I do all 3 weapons but mostly foil and epee. I'm starting to feel foil has become too sissy and I think it's finally time to do the full switch to epee. I'm getting sick of all those girly men crying and whinning about every point. I just want to slap a pair of breasts on them. What do you think?

I'm a foilist who also does some epee, i find that foil takes more strategy whlist epee is more "lure then counter" due to no right of way. I greatly prefer foil though epee helps with my speed a bit. Also, no need to use females as an insult, things like that give fencers that air of arrogance reputation, with which you seem to wear quite well. I advise you to watch the way you word things, your post seems to want to spark a flame war between foilists and yourself for your amusement. It would have been better for you to ask people to list pros and cons of both weapons, instead you use insults to rile up people. I really do not want to see another rant, counter rant war begin. SO, to save the mods and everyone else the trouble of having to deal with your flaming tacics, please, stop this "game" of yours that you seem so eager to play. It does no good for our sport and makes you seem even worse in the forum-public's eyes than you do now. I recommend you reword the post or repost.

Maybe RL has lost his touch. Usually he'd be up to his armpits in angry posts by now.

I personally couldn't choose between foil and epee. I like them both equally. As long as I'm fencing I don't care which of the three weapons I'm using.

You try to plan while avoid falling into your opponent's plan/trap. RL, I think that epee would be better for you. Epee is more of a hit first thing, which is fun, and it suits you. I don't see foil as a sissy weapon.

Amazing, but I thought Epee was the one where you had to think everything through and outsmart the other guy, Foil was the one where you hoped your blade was whippy enough and your arm was straighter than the other fellow's, and Sabre was the one where you ran at each other and screamed and hoped the ref knew what happened because you sure didn't but boy was it fun.

I'm an A rated foilist and a C rated epeeist. I hate it when the noobs give advice.

If only people would realize that they cannot in fact be insulted by someone about whose opinion they don't care, it would rob the troll of all its fun. Then perhaps it would go back to fencingsucks....
