The question is flawed.

In a boolean arguement (Yes or No) anything that exists withing the parameters of the arguement that is false makes the entire arguement false (in this case no).

Basically with that question if I think any modern fencer acts in an un-sportsmanlike manner then I have to answer No.

Tricky and not nice question.

(just for reference what I don't like is "the Machine Gun" of the French... then again I don't much care for the French)

Your poll is rather baised since you only define behavoir as a bad thing, and give no clear and single group you are talking about. I am a modern fencer but I dont do any of those things, I know many modern fencers, non of them do any of those things, if you mean the modern fencers in the olympics then you should say that. If you mean all modern fencers then the awnser has to be no every time because most ppl are good sportsman, ecspecialy in fencing I have noticed.

And second how do you know the intentions of ppl you dont know, how do you know that they celebrate with fist pumps to purposely influence the refs decsision, a ref should never even be paying attention to the fencers after the point because that isn't what matters, I think you under-estimate the refs and the "modern fencers".
