Perfect Candidate

First of all-The face I have next to this post. Is that supposed to be Asian? Or what? Then there's another face that looks distinctly like "retarded". One eye is kinda bigger than the other and it's smiling.

Moving on-this thread was created to talk about the perfect candidate in your eyes. I think it's pretty clear that everyone running has some serious flaws, so what would your perfect candidate be?

Mine would be a tall person, a man or a woman. (Although, realistically, I'm probably more likely to vote for a man than a woman. It's not a concious sexism, it's just a subtle tendancy. Sorry.)

Anywho, he would be an honest guy who first of all always tells exactly what he's going to do in his campaign. Even if it will lose him votes. Like raising taxes. I'll vote for a candidate who will raise my taxes, but not for one who says that he'll lower spending and cut taxes. (Because you can only do one or the other.) He takes a position and gives a clear answer to every quetion he is asked. No circular speeches that dodge the question. A sentence will do 90% of the time.

It would be best if he was from some military background, but who is stil experienced in politics. The president is Commander in Cheif, and if he's going to control the army, I want him to know what he's doing. On the other hand, a general fresh out of the army probably won't be able to deal with domestic affairs very well. So I'm looking for a comprimise there.

Two more things: I of course want him to agree with me on most general issues (Social Security, abortion, et cetera), and I want him to be clean. No skeletons in his closet. No lying to the senate once, no intimate moments with the President's son or whatever, none of that. Just a nice guy.

This potential candidate, needless to say, would die in the upcoming elections. But he'd get my vote.
