| okay. from a web designer, here are my things:
1) flash has very speicific uses. splash screens and music players are not among them.
2) put the css and javascripts that are in your html files and put them (or create and put) into their separate css and js files, respectively, and then link the files. it saves bandwidth, unclutters the source and there's no reason not to.
3) table layouts are so last century. there's a really good reason standards are being created and tailored to. read up on them and consider converting.
other than that, looks good. nice pics, information layout is good. |

| I agree, excellent website. Clean, easy to navigate and informative. Nice animations and music.
However, can you make it so each new screen doesn't come up as a separate window? That's a hassle. |

| I really like the images you used, and the site was consistant and therefor easy to browse. My only complaint would be the music on by default, and the unneeded intro page, just land the user on the welcome page. |

| thanks for the feedback.
The old fashioned effect is on purpose. the BFC is the oldest club in the US ! (i know some NY people who will throw flames very soon after this post)
for the CSS, i put them directly inside the page because i had a conflict with the forum ones !

The New Yorkers needn't worry about flaming you; I will be photo-editing the snot out of your picture gallery in the near future. Say cheese!

| Very, very nice. I loved the timeline and the pictures. It made me want to fence there. If I am ever in the area I will have to show up just to see if it is as cool as the website! A couple of things that bugged me:
Make it so every page is not a new window.
Consider posting the results in something other than Adobe. I have Adobe.
Other than that, awesome job. Maybe I should work on our tired old site now that I have been inspired!

Just to prove that no matter how great a job is done, someone out there thinks it can be done better.
This web site is a rose in the middle of a field full of weeds.

This web site is a rose in the middle of a field full of weeds. | look, he asked about the website and i gave him design issues. that is what i do for a living. design webpages. i gave him information on how to minimize his bandwidth and making his page modular. i said nothing about how it looks which is what everyone else did. the rose analogy isn't applicable here, a web page can look like a ferrarri but have a golf cart engine under the hood. i'm just trying to give it a tune up. |

| I particularly like the page with the coaches: Epee coach Zaitsev shows off with a sabre...

| disclaimer: i know very little about web page design
how about not having four animations on the front page? the bfc shield/logo on the left spinning around, "new version" blinking, "don't forget to visit our forum" blinking, and a little yellow thing next to "warning!" blinking. seems like a big distraction. |
