I recently read a book called called Classical Fencing: The Martial Art of Incurable Romantics, written by a gentleman named Adam Adrian Crown. While being classicly inclined, it offers several sound tactical principals that have helped my game considerably. My question to you is this: has anyone else read the book or, better yet, visited Maestro Crown's salle in Ithaca, NY? If so, did you find his work, or any other classical discourse, applicble to Olympic fencing (and for the record, this is not an attempt to start a flame war )? This should be interesting...
