It's mostly about the american contingent to athens in general, pride in representing one's country etc etc.
Erinn I think is the only athlete quoted, which is cool. Something about indifference to their reception at the games, negative or positive.

....now if I could only find a way for the local papers here to quote fencers.... lol, no olympic fencers in our area :-(
