    Fencing Totem Pole

    Fencing Totem Pole

Each animal represents the different styles of fencing.

    Epee
The patient cobra. Agile, cunning, and ultimately deadly. Also includes cool face plate!

    Sabre
The elusive rabbit. Quick sharp attacks and furious footwork. But when it comes down to it, pretty damn funny looking.

    Foil
The pestering Mosquito. Small and annoying, they are a plague amongst humanity.

Epee Fencers do it to the hilt!

To quote you: There's a new thread to discuss totem poles. And you seem to have missed it in creating this one.

King Cobra looks pretty good, but I have to go with the Bunny. The Pancakes were the part I liked the best. I don't know if I understand the relationship between this and totums, but, I remember my friend from back east whose mother was an American Indian Princess and she told me stories about being American Indian in New York. Not to mention the family story, where one of our ancestors was shot with an arrow and died up in Ridegefield Park New Jersey.

    Have a Nice Day.

Epee: the pig. Simple and obese, the hog knows that if it waits long enough, his opponent will come to him - so it just stands there getting fatter.

Sabre: the mountain goat. Smelly and hairy, the mountain goat likes to keep charging and smashing into his opponent over and over. The "headbangers" of amatuer sport.

Foil: sorry, no animal comes close to the sophistication level of the foilist.

...the cat: She'll play with you and keep you on at the very edge of life for her amusement - then bite off your head.

    The cat, indeed! Pole-cat, perhaps...
