| 2 pin - Which pin? Just trying to update my website with some info on 2 Pin bodywires.
Can someone just remind me ... it is the larger diameter pin that connects to the tip and is insulated from the bracket, isn't it? (I don't have one in front of me just now.)

| Nothing personal, but maybe "TheArmourer" isn't the best name for you. |

| dunastor. Sorry - should have said foil
prototoast. Nothng personal, but maybe protozoa would be a better name? But getting back to the point, what did you have to contribute to the thread?.
FYI - most people in th UK use 3 pin sockets, so you only get to see one once in a blue moon.

| RoW has been superceded by shouting "EST LA!!!" and turning suddenly towards the president. (And I should have said Bayonet not 3 Pin. )

To explain the matter: the bayonet is 1 pin less then the 2 pin sockets, and 3 pin is one more....

| It is the small pin that is insulated and in contact with the wire that runs to the tip. The big one is the ground.
ROW in the US is also being replaced by a turn and shout but the exact phrasing seems to change depending on the fencer, which may be why it only works some of the time and that silly ROW thing gets mentioned by some judges who have not been keeping up with the sport.
What is a three pin... Other than an epee socket of course. I can't imagine what the third pin would be for...
