Where is Cliff Bayer?

Is he fencing anymore? I fenced him a few times in DE's in the mid-90's and warmed up with him at Universiade in 95. One thing that I remember about his fencing is that he was nearly impossible to riposte against. Parrying was not much a problem, but he had such a well developed technique after he got parried (strong counter parry, step in remise, etc.) I thought that part of his game was brilliant. Does anyone know how he developed this or who taught it too him?

As for who taught him such tricks, I assume his coach Yefim Litvan. Currently head coach at Rutgers.
