Hi new to this board, Fell in Love with Fencing in 2002, changed my life! I was fencing in Seattle, WA USA now just surviving in Shanghai, China. I miss it terribly.

Speaking of, anyone know where I can order a hard case to ship my foils to myself? You know even with the tip guard long metal objects just aren't so welcome on the airlines these days!

I remember having seen hard plastic bags on The Duellist website. However they do not seem to have them anymore.

I also remember having seen hardcases in sports shops that were intended for golf equipment. Have no idea of any US shops though (although think I may have seen a thread on this particular subject somewhere here a looong time ago...).

A few years ago I picked one up at KMart. It lasted quite a while.

You can get them just about anywhere now. They generally run about 50-100 dollars. I saw one at Duhnam's (sport retailer) on sale for like $47.
