| Hello
Hi my name is Brett. I am hopelessly addicted to fencing. I schedule work around fencing, and experience major traumas if I miss one club nights worth of fencing. In my free time I lunge at a golf ball tied to a string and have lurked on this board for a while. Does anyone out there experience the same addiction to fencing as I do?!  |

| Well Brett I like fencing as much as I do golf but im not obsessed about either one.

| Yeah.. I have been fenicng for 9 months.. yet.. i practice about 4-6 days a week.. and can't even make it through a day without doign somthgin fencing related.. and.. i cant make it rhgouth a converation without some sort of fencing referance!!!!  | |

and here I was hiding my "problem" thinking no one would understand.... 
Lurking.. I can understand that (on the discussion board!!! )
One of my friends (a non fencer) couldn't understand my "addiction" to the sport - why she asked... you get to hit people who are trying to hit you and most times you can even be friendly about it afterwards... It's always the referee's fault anyway!!! If they had been seeing my parry I woudl have been more confidant and won the bout..
