We would like to see the same unmistakeable evidence of it. The problem is that the efforts are continuouosly blocked by "executive privilege".

So, that makes it perfectly allright to invent your own conclusions based on personal hatred---and invariably to assume the worst of the available possibilities must be the correct one. Yes, that's intellectual honesty for you...

Somehow, these things always seem to come out in the end, one way or another, despite the most energetic attempts to keep them concealed. From Nixon to Reagan to Clinton, scandal will always out. But why wait when you can leap to conclusions which will further one's political goal instead? Why bother with fact when innuendo is so much more fun?

Sometimes a calumny is progressed in order to incite a party to release more facts to support their initial position.

This hasn't proven to be the case. Instead of supplying the requested information, they uniformly deny having made statements that are on audio, video, and written record.

Oh, you mean the way Tereza Kerry denied saying "un-American" in a speech that she had only just finished making? Yeah, that could never happen unless there were some despicable intent behind it...

Mind you, this does not mean that you aren't right about Bush and Co. It only means that unless you are blessed with the ability to read minds and hearts
