Array Watch for July 18 "Parade" Magazine Fellow Fencers,
In this week's "Parade" magazine (the color supplement that appears in many Sunday newspapers), I saw a list of next week's articles that included a reference to a profile of an unnamed fencer. Something about "from the inner city to the Olympics". I plan to watch for this! Any idea whom it's about? Anyone out there have an in at "Parade"? Array Hmmm I bet if I were really SMART I might know who they were talking about... but I just live in Wisconsin... no 'inner city' fencing academies here... Array I thought that might be the SMART answer too, but was curious if anyone knew for certain. "Never give in, never give in, never, never, never, never . . . never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense." Churchill, 1941 -

Array It maybe about someone from the Peter Westboork Foundation.
It is just a guess on my part. -

Array My apologies for mistyping. I meant the "Peter Westbrook Foundation". -

Array You know this forum has an edit feature.
Anyways, it might not necessarily be keeth smart. His sister erinn is also from the PWF, as is kamara james I THINK.
Ivan lee is too. Im not sure if any other PWF fencers are going to the olympics. "Their interpretation is, however, refuted most elegantly by your system of radioactive atom + amplifier + charge of gun powder + cat in a box"

Array It's Carlton Henry, Jr. The fencer featured in the July 18 Parade is Carlton Henry, Jr. The magazine will be posting the story in its online archives and it will be available beginning July 26. The URL is parade.com.
They also have a Weblinks feature which is online now at www.parade.com/weblinks/index.html, featuring links to the Peter Westbrook Foundation and USFA.
