| Paypal Egads! I had a paypal account a few years ago, that's how I transferred funds into the pocket of my SIMPLY wonderful fencing instructor. Even though I work like a dog, I SIMPLY can't afford to take the plunge.....but good luck Craig, PAYPAL is a good deal, and you get interest for keeping money safely tucked away.

Many of you have asked how you can help support the site. Well now you can and get a little something in return. This program is for you!
For a one-time PayPal monthly payment of only $24.00 for a year, (or monthly recurring subscription of $2.00/month) you will receive the following Fencing.Net benefits, and our undying thanks:
1) Your member name will appear in green in all of your posts, and in the "Who's Online" listing (like the mods are in red and writers/experts in orange now).
2) Your PM box will increase in size, to 500 messages maximum (InBox and Sent Items combined), and you'll have the ability to PM up to 30 buddies at once.
3) Your Avatar size will increase to 100x100 pixels and 20k in size.
4) You'll get a custom title to replace "Member", "Senior Member" or "Just Joined".
We feel that the benefits we're offering for Premium Membership are a great value for you, and a great way to help us by supporting the site. If you're interested in signing up, please go here: http://www.fencing101.com/vb/subscriptions.php Okay, I signed up, but my Username isn't green. What's up?
Sometimes you have to edit your profile to reflect the green username if you want it to show up.
How to do this: - Click on User Tools
- Open the User Control Panel
- Under "Miscellaneous", click on "Edit Groups"
- You will then see a selection choice to show you as either "Supporting Member" or "Registered".
- Choose "Supporting Member" and you'll see the username color change on your next post/login.
Thanks, everyone!
**Please note, we are NOT removing or changing any access or settings from regular members. The whole idea of the program is to give something extra to those supporting us, and not to take away services from our current members. Latest Updates
I moved the Journal and Arcade links to the Quick Links menu and moved some of the User Control Panel links from Quick Links to the "User Tools" menu. Please take a couple of minutes to mouse-over the menus and get a feel for where everything is. What's Next?
Writing a couple of tactical and training articles, plus beginning Olympic Previews since we're a month out from the first events at the Games.
Edit: added a monthly option and changed pricing slightly to reduce it. I'll get a normal CC option in the store.
Cheers,
Craig | Excellent! Keep up the good work!

| Count me in.
From the USFA "FAQ" on their "web site":
Q. Why isn't information made available sooner?
A. US Fencing Online is not maintained at the US Fencing Association headquarters in Colorado Springs. As a result, several factors come into play which may lead to a delay in getting information online, including that the information is maintained by an unpaid volunteer who has a job and a personal life.
OK, so I just paid a volunteer because he puts information I like, use, and *am willing to pay for* on line.
Why do I pay the USFA? Because I have to. |

| I think this is a good idea because fencing competitively is too cheap right now. Please tell me about any other available expenses. |

| Another way to Go Green You can also earn Green status just as Grasshopper did by submitting an article that is used in the news or feature sections at Fencing.Net.
Cheers,

By the way, my shades are a nice beige tone. Sorry 'bout yours. Maybe if you washed them...?

| You and me both, Zmurfette ... I've poked around a bit in the Store in case they put a non-PayPal option over there but haven't had any luck finding it. Would like to 'go green' but not quite enough to be willing to 'go PayPal' to do it. :-/ |

| Which begs the question: isn't a silver smurf a contradiction in terms? |

| I'm referring to the calendar sticky, but it's not there anymore, so I'm posting here instead.
I got the calendar for Christmas, and it's awesome. |
