Competing in international events

How many people here have fenced in an international competition? what was your opinion of it?

Well, Europeans are much more fun to fence I think, probably because those who qualify for them have had a much higher level of training (still have yet to beat one though - argh). I like the scheduling and time line of events better as well. Overall, I find that world cups are much more fun to fence than NACs; the general ambience as well as the fencing contributes to it.
