Try blade fencing in NYC (
http://www.blade-fencing.com/). they have a double wide eppe
blade that is very similar to the one Tripplette used to carry. Blade has them made in
eastern Europe. Quality is a bit variable, but is was in those french blades, too. Blade
seems to be revamping their website, so it may be best to call them (there's an 800
number at the bottom of the website).
Incidentally, i spoke to someone at Tripplette a year or two ago aboutthose blades. They
told me that they had all been made by one man at the factory & he'd had some severe
health problems &didn't expect to be returning to work for some time...
