Hi Sean--

Just thought that I'd add a little support to what you said. The Fencing P=
ost with their Uhlmann Italian foils (w/ full ricasso!) have been serving m=
e quite well. The blades may well be France-Lames leftovers, but so far, e=
xcept for whippiness, they have held up. I also have one of their Italian =
Epees with a dummy-electrical blade inserted..a bit heavy, but it is also q=
uite serviceable. I would agree that we need to support these vendors who =
are servicing the Classical Fencing community, and The Fencing Post seems t=
o be in the forefront on this. Not sure of how their supply is holding out,=
but maybe we can encourage them to continue to keep us in their business f=
ocus.

Michael-

There are still some in the supply pipe-line, so it can be believed. The
problem is that most of them are even whippier than your standard sport foi=
l
blade.

Uhlman has done a nice job with Italian foil blades, and these appear to be
in production, or at least in the supply chain. The folks at The Fencing
Post have always gone the extra mile to make Italian foils and epees
available to the Classical Community - I suggest encouraging this behaviour
by spending money with them!

Cheers-
