Thanks for the help all. :-) Now I just have to get some imported from Allstar Germany since neither of their USA distributors stock them, chuckles.

As to the wrist strap discussion, while I am no expert I would say its use deffinately effects how you fence the Italian style--though I think any good Italian fencer should be competant both with it and without it, regardless of their preference. I personally prefer it, but enforce the current policy at my school's club that new students train the first year without it to ensure they learn to grip the foil properly, after which they have the option of using it.
