RE: [CFML] Italian Foils (where)

To my knowledge the use of a wrist stap is still allowed. What I use is an
elastic stap. My teacher Arthur Lane got me to start using the italian foil
and the elastic. He got that from another student when they were students
of Nadi's. (whom he still at the age of 87 only refers to him as the
maestro)

Dear All-re the use of italian foils-do those who use
them, also use the wrist strap with pocket for the
pommel? In the '60's Maestro Oskar Kalombatovitch
taught me to use the wrist strap but i understand they
are no longer allowed. Does this not take much
strength away from the Italian method? Ray Smith
