I was curious to see what information was on the 'net' about my old instructor/coach (Joseph Vince) and his wife (Marion Lloyd Vince, who taught on many days when he wasn't able to come to class), and one of the options that came up was a thread in this discussion board where someone was asking who he was. ...They had come across a foil with his name on it and didn't know he had cold equipment for a time.
Anyway, I was going to reply to him, but after I registered I could no longer find the thread! :-)
I'll go back to the search engine now and go from there. (Wish me luck!)
I'm glad I found 'you all', no matter how I got here, and am looking forward to interacting with others that enjoy the thrill of fencing. -

Hello all, this is my first post! I found out about here through Google. I guess you can only find the Nike Ballestra either here or LP? Anyway, I wasn't looking to buy it or anything. Looking to see what they looked like led me here. I like it here. -

This is of course a completely optional poll and is being used to get a vague estimate of where our active posters come from. fencing is a good exercise...DVD for Exercise -

Array Active-duty Navy guy who moves often. Looking for good gouge on fencing, a sport I enjoyed for three years. So I googled "Fencing Forums" and arrived here. Nice site, good info, interesting folks. . . -

Array I don't quite remember. I think it came up in a google search. Just remember folks, children in the backseat cause accidents, and accidents in the backseat cause children. -
My coach gave me the address. Coming from Europe and not been fencing for 25 years, I did not know anything about the fencing world in the US. -
I was just looking up stuff about kit on google and landed here. lol
By the way hi all -
I was looking up what kind of exercise I should do to keep fit as a fencer on Google, and this site was one of the top options. -
I found this site by searching google for fencing equipment and saw the forum option and now I'm having fun. -
I googled 'fencing forum' and your website came up as the second result behind http://fencingforum.com/ which didn't seem remotely as active, hence my opting for this forum instead. -

Array Plus that other forum is run by Europeans and Europeans are terrible people. -

I was going to put a sadface here but then I remembered what an utterly horrible and despicable person I am.
So I suppose there's nothing left to do than to confirm what Nick is saying using myself as evidence. I'd be ashamed but I'm a bastard with an accent, so I'm probably too busy seducing your wife and daughter at the same time. -
My high school coach, Harvey Webb, mentioned it to me. This was several years ago, and I've browsed the forums occasionally, but never joined until now. Similar Threads -
