Westley, take it from someone who's had plenty of time to develop his characters...I guess I've actually made time for it, but that's beside the point.
Look, just base your character on yourself. The trick is to exaggerate everything. I'll use myself as an example. I have a scar above my left eye from where I accidentally hit myself in the face with a drinking glass when I was little. Salazar, on the other hand, has an enormous scar from his right eye to below his right ear from a fight early on in his career. You see what I mean? Exaggeration (can I get a spell check here?) is key. |
