Array Referee Ratings on askfred.net I got my confirmation about refereeing at nationals and there is a link to a Referee area on askfred. The address is http://foc.askfred.net/ It looks like a really good start.
Cheers

Array Thanks! Thanks for the kind words!
For the interested:
I was asked by Bill Oliver at the FOC to provide a more efficient way for him, the FOC, and the referee examiners to maintain the USFA's data on refs, & their ratings. Currently, the site has a basic search for USFA refs, and a form for refs to report errors in their ratings (the data does need some cleaning up, part of the reason Bill asked me to do the site).
Future plans include:
-- Ref's can create accounts & edit their info.
-- Examiners can submit reports on written & practical exams
-- FOC can track ref participation in events, for purpose of rating upgrades
-- Registered tournament organizers can invite a list of refs in their area to officiate at their tournaments (via BCC from the site; email addresses never divulged)
-- Integration with FRED (the two sites are pretty much separate right now, despite sharing the domain name.)
etc...
Comment & ideas welcome!
