    Trust

I wouldn't mind trying to get back to the old way we would write, with actual longer posts - we would even dare to write for each other!

Used to be we would trust each other with our characters to have actual conversations (more than two-way), interactions, et cetera. I don't know about anybody else, but I really enjoyed reading another person's writing with my character, when it was done well (which it usually was).

Perhaps we can start trying to get back that way?
It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us the freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who gives us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves beneath the flag, and whose coffin is draped by the flag, who allows the protestor to burn the flag. - Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

I'm completely cool with that. I know when I first came here and saw someone else write Rose in I went 'Look! That's ME!' Yeah I thought it was cool. Fine by me.

With all or most of us "going places & seeing people" so often this summer, it would really come in handy. That way, we wouldn't have to wait for the next person to get back or have the time to post. I know I'd really appreciate someone taking care of my characters while I'm off playing Chess. Some of my favorite posts have been things written about my characters by others (as in Lord Tellurine...who is a "dancer" for the Pistons home games right now).

I'm in. We've been perfecting the art of the dialogue far too long...

Yeah I was attempting to write a longer one earlier, didn't work. I'm so molded into the single dialogue that it'll take a little to get back into it.

We'll get used to it. It's about time we had more action and less dialogue, methinks.

No, it just means I can pelt her even when you're not online.
