Array Olympic center training I am the team armourer, and i am only 14, My Coach has told me that she has never seen anyone develop as quickly as me in the armouring world,I have recently apprenticed with Maestro Joseph Byrnes and a total of six people approached my coach about my armouring. Also Maestro Byrnes complemented me on my skills as wel. My coach has told me my next step in the armouring world is to go to the olympic center in colorado next summer for the amrouring. I was wondering if anyone knew the price of staying there for the armouring session. Any guesstimates would be appreciated.

Array Based on the past couple of years and my (possibly somewhat faulty) memory, it's $275 for the week-long session. Airfare (or however you get there) is in addition to that. The $275 covers lodging in the athlete dorms (shared room with other program participants), all food at the athlete cafeteria, and the cost of the actual program. This is an exceptionally good deal in my opinion.
Look for more information about the program around the beginning of April next season.

Array If you've already gotten access to Joe Byrnes, I'm told theres little he doesn't know. He is one of the US armouring "gods" Stick around with him - - see if you can work some tournaments with him, and you'll get a wealth of hands on and "under fire" experience. -

Array Artisan, I would have said 'World'. You also have Ted Li there also. They work together often. You won't find 2 better in all of Europe. Donald Hollis Clinton, Jr. DHCJr@juno.com

Array Does anyone have way of contacting Maestro Byrnes, such as email? I have also worked under Maestro Li at the Temple Open earlier this fenicng year for a short amount of time, and it was wonderful working under both of them.

Array Joe doesn't like computers or e-mail as he prefers letters. Ted can be e-mailed at TLi@pingry.org.
