Basic question about ratings

Can I ask how the rating system works exactly? (A,B,C,D,E,U)

Is it an international thing, and if so, what steps need to be taken in order to gain a rating.

No, it's only in the US AFAIK. For details consult thou the Book of Armaments, Brother Maynard...er, I mean the USFA Classification chart on the USFA website.

Click Info for Members, then Documents, then Operations Manual, then Classification Chart...
